Today, I nearly burned down my kitchen. HAHA. No kidding, and it's no joke really.
What happened was I was staying @ home to watch my BOF. AHH. Love it alr. Haha, yea and I was heating up a polar cafe puff in the microwave.
Little did I know, that unlike usual times, the settings had been arranged to HIGH heat. WOAH. I heated it up once, took it out. It still felt a little rocky, so I put it in again, this time for longer. WOAH. I was using my earphones, but I still heard a loud thud from the plate in the microwave. I was like, aiya, did the puff explode. (cus if u're an experienced microwaver, you will knw that sometimes when u heat up a currypuff inside it explodes cus there's no hole and the hot air has no way to escape, I think) Uh huh. So I went in and I was like shit, the smell is sososososososo bad. Like, it was a burning smell. I took a look at the microwave and LO, smoke (like the kind emitted from dry-ice) was coming out of the bottom of the closed door. And the door to the microwave is transparent so you can see ur food, but I couldn't see anything!!! IT WAS THE SMOKE OVERWHELMING THE INSIDE OF THE MICROWAVE I WAS LIKE WOOOAHH. So I quickly off-ed it, then I ran out of the kitchen.
THEN, I was so sosososososo super shocked when I saw smoke coming out of the kitchen in an orderly fashion into the living room. I WAS LIKE OMO. I really didn't realize it was that BAD until I saw the smoke coming out of the kitchen. Then, I realized the whole kitchen was filled w smoke, just that it had already evenly spread out and I didn't realize it when I entered. I upped the fan in the living room and waited for all the smoke to clear out before gg in to check things out again. WOAH, it took sucha lonnnng time for the smoke to clear out. WAH I TELL U. Because there's a huge mirror in the living room I could see my posture when I was a lil frightened and waiting for the smoke to clear. I was like hugging myself. It was quite funny, I started to chill a little. Yea, then when most of the smoke cleared out. I went in again, I used a wet cloth to open the microwave door then I ran back. When no explosion took place, I went back in to take a look. WOA. Boy was the puff chaotah. Haha. The plate had yellow stains on it too, so did the inner of the microwave. Later when I washed the plate there was a hugeeeeeass crack in it too.
YEA. So. Moral of the story, check the settings of ur microwave bef doing anything else HAHA. And my dad was superrrr against microwaves to begin with. He was uncomfortable with the way they are able to shift molecules around in an object and he believes that they become somewhat like GM food, whereby ppl are not totally certain about the side-effects they might have.
WOW. What a long post for this story.
On a lighter note, I'm really starting to like BOF. :)
And, I feel like eating long john. No kidding, might eat it tmr when I meat Bingbongbern:B. No way, I just spelt "meet" as "meat". HAHA.
