I miss cambodia.
I miss Cambodia MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE. OH my GOODNESS> ): Before I forget anything I think I'd better blog first ya. :D This is gonna be a long one. I promise. :/ okok.
DAY ONE
Let's see, oh yes. Reached airport at 4 and flew off to Cambodia. In Cambodia we were split up into two groups group one and two for the first bus and group four and five for the other one. Group three was dissolved in between. Ya I'm in group five and we got the lousier bus with hot aircon, but it was ok la. : D Ya then firstly we went to eat seafood fried rice at this place near the cambodia airport. Then Father Olivia, who was the overall in charge of the Cambodia side brought us to see this piece of land where he intended to use for agriculture or something liddat, ya :D And then we travelled some more to ST. Francois High School where we were very warmly greeted by the students. It's like they were lined up in two rows opposite each other and they were clapping when the bus arrived, haha. And it's like we had to change into our ethnic costumes in a hurry to put up the performance for them. HAHA, ya. Then it's like after the parade we had to change out of the clothes in a hurry again and then facilitate games for them. (: It was fun la, then after that they brought us around the school and we went through a short lesson on agriculture with them. Ya, then it was like madness after that, cus like school was something like over already so we played basketball with them. It was us against them la, and at first we were veryvery badly thrashed 3-0 then ming fong and pun arrived and rescued us so it became like 4-3 at the end. They damn pro la, although they are relatively shorter than us they can jump like, woahh.. haha. (: Yea then we ate dinner and it was goodnight. The girls and guys dorms are separated by just a wall so at night the boys were like making alot of nice so someone screamed and asked them to shaddup. Then they were like suddnely very quiet then suddenly they said all together at once, " GOODNIGHT GIRLS" so cute larh. Haha, ya then we replied. "GOODNIGHT BOYS AND SHADDUP" (: lmao. so cute. pics up.

DAYTWO
We were on our way to Phnom Voah. We had to lug our luggage back up the bus cos we were staying somewhere else that night yahh. So off we went. Phnom Voah by the way means Mountain Voah. Yea and the families we helped over there have at least one parent with HIV and about half of the children there had HIV too. They seemed very normal and I often had to remind myself that they were sick. Yupp anyway on that day, my group, GROUP FIVE, was in charge of teaching the children. YAY! (: We taught them the ABCs, it was quite difficult for them at first, but some of them were really intelligent. Yea and after teaching we had lunch there and then my group was divided and I had to help out with the building of the school. We used chungkols to dig holes in the soil for the foundation. I was lousy, really. It was Ming Fong and Rina doing the most work. Sigh. Haha, yea and in the evening we left for the cultural centre. If I'm not wrong, we had to change into our ethnic costumes again for another parade. Yea. We were really tired lah, but it was fun. Yea and we had dinner with the students from KCCC. something catholic cultural centre I think. yea. (: And after that we bathed and had reflection with janice and caroline the two crazy helpers of the teacher. And then we slept, it was double decker, two on each bed so I slept up with siti. She sleep talks larhh. HAHA. Ok, pics up.
