I'm BACK people; anyone miss me? (: lol,yea. so I'm back, from band camp&batam. I was so tired yesterday I just flomped onto the bed right after I bathed. &then you know what? At like 12.55a.m in the morning I suddenly hear something funny & it turns out all my cousins are surprising my sister with a birthday song&cake and I'm looking like some idiot not knowing anything that was going on. I was damn shocked&sad lar, like why didn't they wake me up. wl. nvr mind, let's not talk about it, so I had to wake up & then we watched the football match chelsea vs. arsenal. 1-1. Then they went home and I slept until nine this morning. Okay. Band camp was really tiring & quite fun, but I was really glad when it was over cos I would be gg to batam(: &Batam was a real eye opener for me & I enjoyed it alot. Okay, so I'll talk about the Batam trip yea? I'll just cancel the boring bits. Okay first we travelled by ferry&then van&then by sampan to riau island. We stayed in a small house on stilts above the sea, so it was cool. Yea, &then after we settled down we mingled with the kiddies and entertained them with some balloons and our awful dance. lol, reeaally, it was awwfull. :p I tell you the kids there are sooooo cute. &then after that we played volley ball with the locals, us; me, lydia, vivian, bernice, shawn, jontay&mark. I was seriously lousy I couldn't even hit the ball but the rest of them were like good lar, so paisehh. ): But in the end we still got thrashed by them, I mean of course luh, come'on they play it everyday and almost every hour of their lives;ofcourse their pros. :D &then we bathed, the toilet consists of just a big tank of wellwater and a hole for our waste which leads to the river, coolhuh? :D But the water was really cold at first but after that it was like shiok man!! (: &then we ate dinner and we took a walk with one of the helpers from the church. We shared ghost stories & I was kinda freaked cos my danzi very xiao. (: So we went back to our house and stayed outside where we could see the view of the sea. We played truthordare, boo. &then after that we had to sleep, but obviously we didn't, only the adults slept. We played daidi in the storeroom where all the groceries for the locals were kept. When we got tired we slept on the rice, lol. At first it was soo hot, but when it got to the morning, it was freeeezing I tell you. FREEEZING. And I woke up halfway while I was sleeping, no one else was awake and I was really scared luh. Cos the roosters kept on cockle-doodle-dooing and the dogs were howling, like so scarry can? (: Then the others starting waking up & the adults they were like: "aiyo, why eur sleep in the storeroom?" Lol, then when we woke up we watched the sunrise, although we didn't see the sun hurhur. But the view was damn nice lar, like got the horizon and then the fishermen's sampan and the sea. Yea&then we played some games with the local kiddies, thier sooooooo adorable I tell you.. (: then got some cute small shuaiges. Haha, and we watched them play volleyball, even the old ladies were pro can? I was sooooooo zibei. Yea, then we gave them the groceries and we left on the sampan. (: And then we skipped stones while waiting for the van. After that we ate at megamall, but we had no time to shop. BOO! So we left early, I was reallly tired from the previous night, so I dozed off and woke up with a stiff neck. Then we arrived at the ferry terminal at harbour front. The end, but it was a really nice time I had there. The people on the island lead really simple lives, they catch fish for a living and the days pass by slowly. :D I love it.
